Arachis oil is a refined oil from peanuts Arachis hypogaea. It is primarily used as a laxative and given as an enema. It lubricates and softens impacted feces. It is also used as an excipient for many pharmaceutical products, including dimercaprol, colpermin, natural and synthetic sex steroids, and many skin creams such as zinc, castor oil, and calamine;
